The client: Elena Uguccioni is a native Italian tutor with 15 years of experience, teaching professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone who loves the language. Her specialty is practical, career-focused Italian: interview prep, workplace communication, and helping people who are relocating to Italy for work. She needed a website that spoke to that professional audience and made it easy to go from curious visitor to booked lesson.
The challenge: Most language tutor websites blur together. Generic stock photos, vague promises, no clear way to get started. Elena's site needed to do three things: establish her as the real deal, speak directly to her professional niche, and let people actually purchase lessons online instead of going back and forth over email.
What I did: I built the site around Elena herself. Her photos, her credentials, and her personality lead every section, because when you are choosing a tutor, you are choosing a person. A deep forest green and crisp white palette with hand-drawn underline accents gives the site a polished but approachable feel, professional enough for her corporate clients without feeling stiff.
The content strategy centers on Elena's niche. Instead of "learn Italian" messaging that could apply to anyone, the copy asks the exact questions her ideal clients are already asking themselves: Are you preparing for an interview with an Italian employer? Are you moving to Italy for work? That specificity is what turns the right visitors into inquiries.
On the practical side, I set up online commerce so students can purchase directly from the site: a 30-minute trial lesson, 1:1 lesson packages, or group packages for companies and teams. Client testimonials and Elena's numbers, 50+ happy clients, 15+ years of experience, 500+ hours of lessons, provide the social proof that seals the decision.
The result: A warm, credible site that positions Elena exactly where she wants to be: not as another generic language tutor, but as the go-to Italian coach for professionals. Visitors can learn about her, see proof she delivers, and book a trial lesson in one visit, no email tag required.
